Building Designer

Medium sized, established residential home builder based in Sydney who has been operational for over 10 years is looking for an experienced residential Architect, Designer or Design Manager to head up the internal Building Design role for their custom housing division. They undertake projects across home building, land development and custom developments and have a strong reputation across NSW.

Stable and secure role as the company is large and has strong sales. Role is created due to a new custom brand and an increase in sales. Projects are valued around $2mn+ in the Sydney Metro area.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Designer / Design Manager will include :

• New product design
• Liaising with sales team and taking client briefs
• Concept design
• Designing and coordination with estimating, drafting and site teams to acquire quotes and prices
• Managing design and development to position the builder as a market leader
• Delivering an innovative and high quality product range, accessible to local NSW markets
• Grow and lead a future team
• Report to the Director of the business
