The Role
This role is central to driving revenue growth while delivering exceptional client service and seamless advertising solutions across both print and digital platforms.
The successful candidate will manage the full advertising sales lifecycle, build strong client relationships, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver high quality advertising outcomes.
Duties include
Manage the end-to-end advertising sales lifecycle across all Medicus media channels
Achieve annual advertising revenue targets
Develop and maintain pricing, product offerings, and updates for the Media Kit, including print, digital, listings, and wall planner products
Coordinate bundled sponsor and advertiser offerings
Promote event related advertising opportunities to new and existing clients
Build, maintain, and retain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence
Manage the advertising pipeline and conduct targeted sales outreach
Coordinate bookings, artwork collection, approvals, invoicing, and campaign delivery
Ensure all advertising is delivered on time and meets agreed quality standards
Provide data driven insights and trend analysis to support advertising packages and sales strategy
Prepare advertising pipeline reports, sales forecasts, and revenue tracking
Collaborate with the Media and Communications team to deliver post campaign performance reports and analytics
Maintain effective relationships with external vendors and suppliers
Essential to the role
Strong sales orientation with excellent negotiation and closing skills
Persuasive communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Highly organised, detail oriented, and deadline driven
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and performance metrics
Collaborative, solutions-focused, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
Qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in advertising, media sales, or commercial partnerships
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Experience managing client relationships and delivering customer centric service
Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, reporting tools, and media metrics (desirable)
Experience coordinating campaigns across both print and digital channels (preferred)
