What you will be doing

• Reporting through to the Supervisor, some of your duties will include :
• Ensure safety protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Complete daily site crane inspections prior to start-up and record all findings.
• Follow hand signals, radio communication, or written instructions to coordinate with riggers and site supervisors.
• Observe all rigging techniques prior to performing any lift to ensure the lifting is rigged correctly and has the capacity to perform the lift safely.
• Assess the weight of all loads and ensure they are within crane capacity.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• General pick and carry activities supporting larger cranes and major installations across the site.
• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Work on a 3 / 1 roster on a permanent contract with Perth point of hire and caravan motel style accommodation (as part of benefits).
