Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with their activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility
- Following client care plans and actively identifying client care needs
- Communicating and collaborating with the clients care team and significant others
- Following appropriate policies and procedures applicable to clients in their own home
- Performing light housekeeping tasks to facilitate client’s self-care at home
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need :
Minimum Certificate III in either Aged Care, Disability Services, Community Service or related experienceCurrent or willing to obtain Australian National Police checkCurrent or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificateFull Australian Driver’s licence and own reliable insured carPreferred Skills
Able to work autonomously and as part of a teamHigh level of time management and organisational abilityWillingness to participate in further education opportunitiesExcellent written and verbal skillsWhat We Offer
