Tradewind is excited to support a respected independent P-12 co-educational Christian school in Sydney's Western Suburbs to appoint a Head of HSIE commencing Term 1, 2026.
This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSIE leader or a passionate HSIE educator with strong leadership aspirations to step into a faculty head position during a time of growth and innovation.
About the Role
As Head of HSIE, you will :
- Provide curriculum leadership and strategic direction across Years 7-12
- Mentor and support a dedicated team of teachers, fostering collaboration and innovation
- Model exemplary teaching practices, with the ability to teach HSIE subjects (Legal Studies and Economics highly regarded, though all specialisations welcome)
- Use data to drive continuous improvement and positive student outcomes
- Contribute to the broader life of the school community in alignment with Christian values
- This role carries a leadership level 2 allowance
