Job Description : Join our team as a Leader of Learning & Wellbeing - School Coordinator (Level 1) in a one-year max term contract for the 2026 school year, with the possibility of an extension. This is a fantastic chance to grow your leadership experience while making a real difference in a supportive and collaborative environment. In the one-year coordinator role, you may be required to undertake some on-class teaching responsibilities.
As a Leader of Learning & Wellbeing, you will lead and collaborate with a team of specialists including teachers, teacher's aides, school therapists, coordinators, administrators and other Aspect staff to deliver our evidence-informed, student-focused autism-specific approach. Use a person-centred and family-focused approach to ensure the delivery of quality educational standards. As a core member of the school's Learning Support Team (LST), you will lead and supervise the teaching team and partner parents, carers, and other members of the school community.
In 2026 our satellite classes will be based at Barrack Heights, Albion Park, and Unanderra (within the University of Wollongong). You may be required to work at any of these sites as a teacher, and may oversee some or all of the satellite classes in your role as a coordinator, and therefore must be able to travel to these sites on any given day if student or staff support is needed. Our main campus classes are situated at Aspect South Coast School in Corrimal.
Qualifications : To provide for consistency of support, we are looking for coordinators who are currently working or are available to work full-time (38hrs per week) 5 days per week starting Term 1, 2026.
