About the Office
The Finance Office plays an integral role in the success of the University ensuring responsible stewardship through financial performance and strategic procurement, with a view to financial sustainability and growth. The Finance Office implements an operating model that enables a greater level of engagement across the University supporting the identification and prioritisation of initiatives that deliver operational efficiencies and provide reporting solutions that inform decision-making.
About the role
This position is responsible for the timely delivery of monthly management reporting to the Board, Executive and University Leaders delivering insight into the performance of the University and contributing to the annual budget and forecasting processes. This position will report to the Director, Commercial Finance and operates with a relative degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional reporting and insights to leaders and staff of the Faculty and Division in collaboration with the Finance Business Partners.
- Improve the University's performance by providing contemporary financial management reporting and analysis of University performance.
- Effectively communicate results and performance through high quality management reporting that is timely, accurate and insightful.
- Coordinate the preparation and provision of monthly management accounts and forecasts for the University.
- Coordinate, develop and maintain the University Budget and Forecast.
