About the role
To advance the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Parents, Children and young people and their families using a Primary Health Care Model that incorporates a multi-disciplinary, collaborative care planning approach to meet the individual and family needs working with minimal supervision, with full accountabilities and delegation of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide a high standard of care.
About you
Possession of a Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or working towards the Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
Experience in hearing health, child and family health and health promotion would be well regarded but not essential.
Under Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.
