Your New Role
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Analysis, Design, Process & Business Testing Practice who partner with our Value Streams to understand business needs, design effective solutions, rigorously test them and drive continuous improvement across the enterprise.
You'll be the catalyst who turns complex problems into clear, actionable outcomes that deliver measurable value for our members.
This exciting opportunity is available as a 12 moth contract as the existing team member has been successful in a career development secondment opportunity within the organisation.
What you'll do :
- Lead BA planning & execution for initiatives : clarify the problem, shape the analysis approach, define scope, map inter-dependencies and support risk / issue management
- Facilitate workshops to capture current and target states; elicit, analyse and document requirements using Jira, Confluence and Miro
- Own requirements lifecycle management including traceability, functional spec reviews and test scope alignment
- Co-design solutions with stakeholders, ensuring alignment to strategy, target state and member outcomes; recommend design and capability improvements
- Embed strong risk & compliance practices (Three Lines of Accountability), support control frameworks, and complete cyclical risk activities (e.g., material risk / KRI assessments)
How do you exceed our expectations?
5+ years experience as a Business Analyst across complex portfolios within the Superannuation industryExperience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments; deep knowledge of contemporary BA frameworks (e.g., BABOK, UML, BPM / CBM)Hands-on with Miro, Jira, Confluence and the discipline to maintain robust process libraries and documentationExperience working with external Financial Advisers (Highly Desirable)Outstanding stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills with a track record mentoring other BAs and collaborating across multi-disciplinary teamsSharp analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic thinking and comfort navigating ambiguity to create clarity and momentumEmployee Experience
