Downer is seeking a proactive and experienced Engineer in Routine Maintenance to support our Operations and Project Managers in delivering high-quality infrastructure maintenance projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring contracts are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Role is based at our Walkley Heights office in South Australia.

Key responsibilities Support the tendering, planning, and execution of maintenance contractsEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standardsLiaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project deliveryMonitor project performance and implement corrective actions as neededContribute to business improvement initiatives and cost-efficiency strategiesMaintain strong client relationships and represent Downer professionallyWhat you'll bring Degree in Engineering (civil preferred)Valid Driver's LicenceExperience in contract / project management within civil construction or maintenanceStrong understanding of ISO 9001, safety, and quality systemsExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management toolsDowner is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
