About the program
Calvary Bruce Private Hospital runs the Calvary OnePlus Graduate Nurse Transition Program (GNTP), a national program that supports the individual in developing principles of clinical practice that promote the transference of knowledge, skills and behaviour for life-long learning. Through support and reflection, the program will empower the individual to make well-informed evidence-based decisions throughout their career. This twelve month practice-based program enables graduates to learn the essential knowledge, skills and attitudes in a supportive environment in a variety of clinical settings throughout the organisation.

The Graduate Nurse Transition Program based on a best practice and clinical support, will provide you with;

Registered as a Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Valid work rightsNew graduate enrolled nurse who has not previously participated in a graduate enrolled nurse transition program and has not been employed for more than 3 months as an enrolled nurse in Australia or overseas.Desirable :
Demonstrated effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated ability to utilise the Nursing Process in the provision of safe, evidence based nursing care to patients in an acute care environment.Participation in ongoing professional development of self and others.Calvary Benefits
