Remuneration

Salary range : $37.21–$43.23 per hour. Includes employer superannuation and leave loading.

About the Role

School Learning Support Officers provide support for students with identified diverse learning needs, including disability, in classrooms and other learning environments under the direction and supervision of a teacher. Responsibilities include supporting educational outcomes and student welfare, health and wellbeing activities. Officers may also provide specific support in pre‑school, vision, hearing, and bilingual settings. Officers in these settings have additional duties beyond the general role.

Essential Requirements

• Working with Children Check clearance
• Completion of mandatory training required by the Department of Education and willingness to undertake relevant first aid training
• Training in administration of medications (as needed)
• Health support training (as required)
