We empower our clients, supporting them to build better working lives.This is an on-site position.Wellness Advisors have a diverse role, offering opportunities to assist job seekers who have complex health-related barriers to employment by conducting assessments, undertaking a variety of therapeutic interventions, facilitating groups, and providing recommendations to appropriate vocational and non-vocational supports.This is a permanent opportunity.Full-time hours available; part-time hours will be considered.Key duties of the role will include : Conduct thorough assessments of clients with a range of disabilities and barriers to employment, including functional capacity assessments, needs assessments, and job task analyses.Develop strategies and interventions to improve functional capacity and work-readiness; outline recommendations for services, supports, and interventions.Deliver intervention as needed, utilizing a holistic approach and a broad range of therapeutic methodologies.Refer clients to additional external support services to help address barriers to employment.Provide evaluations on assessments and monitor the progression of cases.Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of clients.Provide guidance to atWork staff on work practices and procedures to prevent and / or minimize exacerbation of health symptoms and facilitate successful entry into employment.Minimum Requirements : A qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.Understanding of multidisciplinary barriers to employment.Experience in delivering person-centered Occupational Therapy services within community or rehabilitation services.Experience of working within employment services is highly regarded.Exceptional communication, rapport-building skills, and engagement.Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports.Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.Ability to provide a Police Clearance (within 6 months) and Work with Children's Check.What we will give you : A competitive salary depending on experience.Laptop + Phone.Flexible working arrangements.Ongoing career development and national opportunities.Job stability and guaranteed full-time hours.Access to a range of benefits including discounts for health insurance, access to psychology services, ability to purchase additional leave, roadside assistance, and paid parental leave.You are welcome here.Our fast-growing team of more than 3,500 people around Australia represents a huge array of life experiences, skills, and ways of thinking.
