People Systems Specialist - Dayforce Focus (fixed term contract)

About the role :
- offered as hybrid - 3 days WFO / 2 days WFH
- Monday to Friday working hours
- This role can be performed from any TFE location across Australia and New Zealand
Reporting to the Dayforce Operations Manager responsibilities include :
System Support & Improvement
Deliver high‑quality, timely support with a strong customer‑service focusRespond to queries clearly and professionally via email and Microsoft TeamsBuild Dayforce subject matter expertise and drive continuous system improvementSupport maintenance and simplification of organisational structures in DayforceConduct data and process audits , identify system “pain points” and implement solutionsExecute system testing and document outcomesHR Operations Administration
Review and improve HR and Dayforce operational processesOptimise efficiency across Recruitment, New Hire and OnboardingRecommend enhancements across Core HR, Recruitment and Onboarding activitiesAssist in the implementation of new modules Performance, Compensation and Succession PlanningAbout you :
To be successful in this role, you will bring :
A minimum of 2+ years’ experience supporting HRIS systems (Dayforce experience highly regarded)Proven involvement in the successful execution of at least one HRIS system implementationA high level of attention to detail and accuracy , with a strong focus on data integrityThe ability to design, optimise and enhance end‑to‑end HR processes for maximum efficiencyStrong capability in documenting processes , conducting thorough system testing , and validating outcomesWell‑developed problem‑solving skills , with the ability to identify root causes and deliver practical solutionsA self‑starter who can work independently and take ownership of outcomesOutstanding organisational and time management skills , with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and projectsA strong customer service mindset and genuine passion for supporting and helping team membersExcellent communication skills in English, including written, verbal and active listening capabilitiesA friendly, professional demeanour with the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levelsExposure to Dayforce HRIS modules including Payroll, Workforce Management, Core HR, Recruiting and Onboarding, Performance, Compensation, Succession Planning and Position Management (desirable)Unrestricted working rights in Australia , with eligibility to work without sponsorshipWhy TFE Hotels :
