Advanced Practice Occupational Therapist
Join NHS Highland as an Advanced Practice Occupational Therapist and lead the East Ross Discharge to Assess team.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and specialist interventions to adults in hospital or recently discharged to facilitate early and supported transition from hospital to home.
- Improve the patient journey by planning and ongoing assessment at home, working with patients in their own homes and preparing rehabilitation plans for support staff.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary and multi‑agency working, including occasional work outside normal office hours and demonstrating flexibility.
- Apply the Discharge to Assess philosophy, leading by example in team working and effective communication.
- Supervise other staff and commit to continued professional development.

Qualifications
Registered Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Valid driving licence and use of own car for work purposes.Additional Information for Candidates
