The Role

As Associate Director - Tax Advisory, you\'ll play a key leadership role shaping the firm\'s Australian tax practice. You\'ll deliver strategic advice, manage complex cross-border tax matters, and act as the registered Tax Agent. This role is ideal for a technically strong and commercially minded professional who thrives on variety, responsibility and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance and advisory matters for the Australian group.
• Provide expert advice on domestic and cross-border taxation, structuring and planning.
• Lead technical reviews and sign-off on tax returns, FBT, ESS and R&D submissions.
• Support the Head of Tax in managing practice performance, budgets and staff development.
• Advise senior management on group tax positions and governance.
• Liaise with the ATO and external advisors on complex issues.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Contribute to business development and strategic growth initiatives.
