Position Information
Sackville Street Public School is a K-6 school located in Ingleburn, a suburb of south west Sydney. With an enrolment of 504 students, we are proud of our diversity and sense of community. Our students come from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds with approximately 48% from EAL / D and 11% from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island backgrounds. Sackville Street PS is a proposed site for a DET preschool opening in 2027. The school has a vibrant and supportive learning culture, with teaching staff who are both experienced and early career. There is a strong and supportive culture of staff collaboration, to plan and implement innovative and evidence based teaching and learning programs. Our staff are trained in internal psychology approaches (Choice Theory & Reality Therapy) and lead learning spaces that are informed by brain-based pedagogy and the promotion of individual and collective agency.
