Overview :  The Cloud Based Technology Strategist role offers a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions. This position impacts customers by helping them navigate complex technological landscapes and achieve their business goals.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Develop strategic partnerships and build trusted relationships with customers, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Provide technical thought leadership and insights on products, industry trends, and their relevance to our customers.
  • Understand assigned accounts’ current use cases, challenges, and opportunities, and the value the solution brings to their business.
  • Consistently contribute to the broader team’s technical mindshare.
  • Serve as an external spokesperson and evangelist for vision and associated technologies.
  • Assist with overcoming technical and competitive objections and accelerate the technical evaluation component of the sales cycle.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of competitive technologies and how to position to “win.”
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or at customer locations.
  • Build complex, multi-product proof-of-concept solutions for customer evaluations.
  • Drive the adoption and consumption of products by working with Customer Success and internal stakeholders.
  • Formalize and deliver a strategic customer technology roadmap that identifies customers’ needs and requirements, translating them into actionable opportunity proposals, operational requirements, high-level designs, and customer success plans.
  • Provide regular and efficient updates on assigned accounts to Sales and ATS management.
  • Engage and leverage the wider team where appropriate to help manage and deliver the best customer outcomes.
  • Work with limited oversight.
  • Communicate with parties within and outside of the job function, including customers and vendors.
  • Influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures, and practices.

Required Experience :

  • Strong understanding of business processes and their implementation into enterprise applications.
  • Analytical and negotiation skills, particularly at the C-level.
  • Ability to work independently and in a strong team environment, delivering on both detail and strategy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.
  • High level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge.
  • Ideal Candidate :

  • Background in Presales or Customer Success management.
  • Self-motivated and good communicator.
  • Passion and aptitude for technology.
  • Understanding of End User computing is a bonus.
