Your opportunity

As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic , based at Mackay in the Rapid Response team, you’ll perform maintenance on our LV & HV network including emergency fault finding, LV / HV switching, inspecting, testing and commissioning of our assets.

The remuneration for your new role is from $113k + 14.75% superannuation + applicable allowances

What you’ll bring

• A Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certification as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
• Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution / transmission system, including construction and maintenance of an electrical network.
• Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship or an Australian permanent residency.

We’d also love you to have

• Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers. You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs.
• Availability for call out and emergency work.
• Willingness to travel to surrounding area from time to time to undertake work.
