Psychiatrist - Consultant Liaison

Salary : AUD216,300 - AUD310,389 per annum + pro rata + 12% superannuation

Position : Psychiatrist - General Adult Consultation-Liaison Global Medics is seeking a Psychiatrist interested in working permanently in Tasmania. In this role, you will :

Provide comprehensive general adult Consultation-Liaison (CL) psychiatric services at the hospital and associated facilities, including the Emergency Department (ED) and the Mental Health Short Stay Unit (MHSSU). Act as a consultant to mental health professionals and health service providers, including hospital medical staff, general practitioners, and other agencies, regarding assessment and management of individuals with mental health disorders. Undertake supervisory responsibilities with psychiatric registrars and other medical staff as required and appropriate. Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,480 per annum. Travel and relocation assistance up to $15,000 for overseas applicants and $10,000 for interstate applicants. Eligibility for 482 visa for international applicants. Requirements Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent qualification. Registration or eligibility for registration as a medical specialist in Psychiatry with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). This role might not be for you?
