About The Role

The Payroll Officer will support the business through the management and maintenance of the Payroll and HRIS systems. The role is responsible for data managements, data cleaning, and reporting. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated working experience in a similar role with exposure to payroll data and processes, leave management advice and compliance, payroll input and record management, as well as working in a complex, fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee and company data in our HRIS including weekly audits to ensure data integrity.
• Update the employees’ leave approver in ADP as required.
• Management of the Payroll inbox responding to employee queries in a timely manner.
• Work in partnership with the HR team on payroll matters.
• Assist in documenting and maintaining payroll processes and procedures.
• Reconcile payroll superannuation payments and authorised payroll

Payroll Processing

• Liaise with ADP in setting up new employees and communicate relevant information to other business service areas such as HR.
• Provide data to ADP within SLAs
• Notify ADP of changes in employee pay details and
• Manage process with ADP to review and finalise redundancy and termination
• Manage the checking of the payroll variance report with the assistance of HR
• Assist Payroll Manager with reviewing of the monthly/off-cycle payroll as required

Desired Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years’ experience in HR/Payroll data management.
• Experience in management and maintenance of data HRIS systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent communication skills liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated initiative and a proactive and a collaborative work style.
• Experience in SAP will be highly regarded
• Previous media/advertising industry experience is an advantage
