Job Overview

We’re seeking an OO4 Ranger to focus on public contact and visitor management projects in the K’gari (Fraser Island) Recreation Area. This includes face‑to‑face communication, print and web‑based product development, and visitor compliance and education patrols. Weekend and school holiday patrols are part of this role. The position is based on K'gari (Fraser Island) and requires a 10 / 4 roster including weekend work and the possibility of living on island during your shift.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with visitors face‑to‑face.
• Develop print and web‑based products.
• Conduct visitor compliance and education patrols.
• Participate in weekend and school holiday patrols.
• Implement contemporary compliance and communication programs.
