    • The Role
    • We now have exciting opportunities for an

    • Advisor
    • to join our People and Culture team at OTR Group. Based at our head office in Adelaide, this role provides first level guidance and support to assist leaders manage people related matters across a diverse retail environment.
    • Two (2) full-time / Permanent opportunities
    • One (1) 12-month full-time / Fixed Term contract opportunity
    • Responsibilities
    • Reporting to the Manager Advisory, you will be responsible for advising on matters relating to performance, conduct, pay and conditions, team member changes and non-work-related fitness for work cases. Your focus will ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.

      You will provide :

    • Advisory Support
    • Advise line managers on workplace matters and draft documentation.
    • Employment Law Guidance
    • Interpret employment laws, awards, and enterprise agreements for wage compliance, rostering, and leave entitlements.
    • Dispute Resolution
    • Assist in resolving workplace disputes and conflicts.
    • Performance Management
    • Guide managers on underperformance issues and draft improvement plans.
    • Fitness for Work
    • Liaise with medical practitioners on non-work-related fitness matters.
    • Escalation
    • Refer complex issues to a Specialist P&C Advisor or Manager Advisory.
    • Positive Culture
    • Promote a fair, consistent, and legally compliant workplace culture.
    • Qualifications
    • About you
    • Ideally tertiary qualified in Law, Human Resources or a related field.
    • Exposure to Industrial and Employee Relations matters.
    • Ability to consider business strategy and objectives when analysing problems to advice on policy and outcomes.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Attention to detail, well organised and comfortable with managing data.
