Staff Specialist – Respiratory & Sleep Medicine

Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Physician

to join our specialist team and help drive the ongoing development of high-quality, patient-centred respiratory and sleep services across the region.

The Opportunity

In this key specialist role, you will :

Deliver high-quality diagnosis, treatment and management of respiratory and sleep disorders across the health service

Provide clinical leadership and contribute to safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care

Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team and support service improvement, teaching and research

Play an integral role in shaping and advancing contemporary respiratory and sleep services within WBHHS

This is a

permanent full-time position (80 hrs / fortnight)

, with

permanent part-time options

available for the right candidate.

Private Practice Opportunities (Senior Medical Only)

Eligible candidates may also establish

private practice

with local private hospitals, with support including :

Access to private hospital sessional rooms

Credentialling assistance and administrative support

Introductions to local GPs, physicians and surgeons to build referral pathways

Your Remuneration & Benefits

Total package value up to $528,085 p.a., including :

Base salary :

$197,063 – $288,584 p.a.

Up to

12.75% employer superannuation

17.5% annual leave loading

Motor vehicle allowance

Professional Development Allowance + leave

General Attraction & Retention Allowance

Regional & Remote Attraction Allowance (L13–L27)
