Location : 1 Castlereagh Street, Gilgandra 2827 NSW

Salary : $77,000 plus 12 % superannuation

As part of its continued growth and commitment to operational efficiency, Silver Oaks Motel is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Clerk to join its team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support the administrative and clerical operations of the motel in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

As a General Clerk, you will assist in maintaining accurate records, supporting daily business processes, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments. You will play a vital role in assisting the management and staff with administrative functions that support inventory, customer service, finance, and general operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and document management
  • Maintain records of invoices, deliveries, and inventory levels
  • Assist with preparing reports and spreadsheets as required by management
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Provide administrative support to the motel team, including rostering and payroll documentation
  • Assist with processing customer transactions and refunds when required
  • Ensure supplies are maintained and replenished as needed
  • Support compliance and record-keeping related to motel operations
  • Assist in coordinating communication between motel departments and external vendors
  • Maintaining records of standard costs for essential motel supplies, including guest amenities and housekeeping materials.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Certificate III in Business or a related field
  • 1+ years' experience in an administrative or clerical role
  • Familiarity with accounting software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Skills Required :

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Familiarity with basic accounting systems is an advantage
