Our client is Australia's leading supplier of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) for residential, commercial, and light industry customers in Australia and New Zealand, being the leading provider and has developed safe, sustainable, and innovative energy solutions for more than 350,000 homes and businesses across a variety of applications and industry sectors.

We are currently seeking a Medium Rigid (MR) Tanker Driver (up to 8t) to join our team in an ongoing Monday to Friday role with some Saturday shifts to deliver LPG throughout the Central NSW region. This role requires an individual who is experienced driving MR Tanker for a minimum of 3 years with a clean Driving Record. Monday to Friday 10-12hr days with some Saturdays when required.

Key Responsibilities :

  • MR Tanker Driver : Safely deliver LPG in 8t Tanker through the Orange region.
  • Hazardous Goods Licence : Handling hazardous materials and will require Dangerous Goods licence before driving Tanker. This licence is desirable but can be acquired during training for the right candidate.
  • Fork Lift Operation : Some Fork Lift responsibilities may be required. This is advantageous but not a requirement.
  • Physically fit & healthy : Must be physically fit and healthy to enable climbing ladders and trucks and attaching hoses.
  • Safety Adherence : Always adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications :

  • MR Licence : A valid MR or above licence for a minimum of 3 years is required for this position.
  • Driving Record : A clean Driving Record will be required upon application.
  • Physical Fitness : Must be physically fit and healthy and be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen.
  • Experience : Proven experience driving in the region.
  • Team Player : A strong emphasis on safety and working within a team.
  • Reliability : Dependable with a strong commitment to safety and workplace integrity.
  • Ability to Learn : Willingness and ability to learn new skills and participate in continuous training.
  • Location Requirement : Must live within the City of Orange to accommodate shift times and travel considerations.
  • Working Rights : Must be eligible to work in Australia on a long-term basis. Student and working holiday visa holders need not apply.
  • Working Hours :

  • Monday to Friday on 10 - 12 shift $38.95 / hr Ordinary hours.
  • Some Saturday and Overtime shifts required at $51.93 / hr .
  • Plus Superannuation.
