Coordinate and support in-person, hybrid and online events across the department, and perform administration functions.
Clerk Grade 5 / 6 ($93,295 - $102,941 + superannuation and leave loading)

About the Role
The Enterprise, Investment and Trade (EIT) portfolio brings together NSW's key arts, culture, hospitality, entertainment and visitor experience groups alongside our leading economic development and investment attraction organisations.
Our Engagement, Operations and Governance division provides essential corporate services to support the EIT portfolio and we now have an ongoing opportunity for Event Officer in the Comms Marketing and Digital Team.
Responsibilities
As the Events Officer, you will provide a range of high-level of administrative and event support services to support the communications team. Working within the event team, you will be responsible for :
Assisting with the annual schedule of in-person, hybrid and online events.
Coordinating and setting up invitations, attendee lists, name badges and all components of the registration process.
Liaising with venue and logistic providers for venue, catering, audio visual, signage, performers, contractors and equipment.
Coordinating administration functions such as equipment, stationery, banners and event kit.
Management of briefs, documents, spreadsheets and filing system.
Manage team inbox, incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Assisting with updating budgets and processing financial transactions.
What are we looking for?
Relevant experience in event management and event planning, such as conferences, seminars, trade shows, internal events, media calls, networking events and virtual events.
Experience delivering virtual and hybrid events, including creating and hosting events on Microsoft Teams Live and Microsoft Teams software.
Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet multiple deadlines, ensuring quality work is delivered using exceptional attention to detail.
Essential Requirements
Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience.
Willingness to attend events, which may require the role to work outside standard business hours and to travel within Australia, including overnight trips.
A current driver's licence.
