Data Analyst

What will you do?

The Data Analyst role is responsible for the management and maintenance of an enterprise Data Lakehouse environment, data catalog and data glossary, including establishment and monitoring of governance and security controls, and improving overall quality, testing procedures and accessibility of enterprise data. This role contributes in the design and establishment of the Enterprise Data Governance framework and standards, and in issue resolution and request management for the data lakehouse and enterprise reports.

Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.

Responsible for the Management and Maintenance of an enterprise data catalog and data glossary

Contribute to the design and establishment of an Enterprise Data Governance framework and standards

Responsible for the establishment and monitoring of detective and preventative controls for the governing and securing of the Data Lakehouse environment

Partner with data engineers and reporting analysts to model, profile data and define business rules that support data pipelines, enterprise reporting and analytics

Improve overall quality, testing procedures and accessibility of enterprise data.

Responsible for conducting analysis on the impact of changes to source data on the Data Lakehouse and enterprise reports

Contribute to data and enterprise report testing through delivery cycles

Contribute to the triage, analysis and resolution of identified issues and service requests for the Data Lakehouse and Enterprise Reports

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, and adaptability to varying request. Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills. And as part of a new team, you will have the opportunity to shape this role and have input into how we evolve it over time to WOW our employees and make an even bigger impact on the world. You will also need the following :

3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Science, or Data Engineer.

Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Math, Sciences, Engineering).

Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

Advanced SQL to query databases and data sources

Experience with Data Governance tools such as Microsoft Purview

Experience in Advanced SQL, Data Lakehouse, Enterprise Datawarehouse and Data Governance, data catalog & glossary (desired)

Experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools such as Power BI

Experience with Workday or Dynamics 365 (desired)
