The Role
Reporting to the Area Operations Supervisor, the purpose of this position is to operate an Open Cut MPU in a safe and efficient manner in order to provide a quality product for the purpose of blasting at the site. The MPU Operator will be responsible for the delivery of emulsion based explosives in alignment with the services supplied on site.
We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced MPU Operator to work across various sites and showcase skills. There will also be a requirement to work nightshift for these roles. The Site
The Bowen Basin, boasting Australia's largest coal reserves, is currently home to more than 40 operational coal mines, along with two gold mines and active gas fields. Additionally, numerous exploration and appraisal activities related to gas and coal are ongoing. The Collinsville vicinity is drained in a northward direction by the Bowen River, after which both the river and the basin were named, honoring Queensland's inaugural Governor, Sir George Bowen. Dyno presently provides down-the-hole services across several locations within the Bowen Basin. This relief role encompasses five specific sites : Caval Ridge, Goonyella, Peak Downs, Saraji, and Daunia.
