They key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to : Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs to increase awareness and protect public health and safetyProvide technical advice to the public on community safety mattersInterpret and apply legislation under the Dog and Cat Management Act including seizing and impounding any stray, lost or dangerous dogsInterpret and apply the Australian Road Rules and RegulationsProcess and issue expiation notices for breaches of relevant legislationAccurate, timely and appropriate management of customer enquiries via the Customer Request System, in line with legislative and Council requirementsProvide efficient, prompt and accurate customer information services either in person, via the telephone or by You : Certificate IV Regulatory Service or relevant experience in related disciplineMinimum 2 years experience as a Community Inspector (or equivalent) within a Local Government contextFirst Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)A TGA approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccineSeasonal Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)Current Class 1 Drivers LicensePlease provide your resume, along with a covering letter mentioning why you have applied for this position, what skills and experience you have relevant for this opportunity. 25AUD Australia - SAAdelaideNorth Adelaide5006
