Licensing, Brand & Retail Marketing Internship (Unpaid)

At Merchantwise, we represent some of the world's most iconic brands across entertainment and gaming.

As one of Australia's leading independent brand licensing and marketing agencies, we work with global names such as Minecraft, Xbox, Sonic the Hedgehog, Peppa Pig, Transformers, and AC / DC — building partnerships that bring brands to life in retail, media, and digital spaces.

• ?? Important : This is an unpaid internship offered as an educational / vocational training opportunity.

It runs for 12 weeks, two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays only), to align with our in-office schedule and support direct supervision and mentoring.

What You'll Gain

As an intern, you'll be mentored and supervised by experienced team members across licensing, content, and marketing.

This program is structured around observation, shadowing, and guided learning activities — no prior experience is required.

We'll tailor aspects of the internship to your interests where possible, giving you exposure to :

Influencer Marketing

Learn about sourcing and shortlisting influencers, preparing briefs, and observing outreach processes.

Support the preparation and organisation of influencer / media kits and sampling logistics.

Retail Marketing

Gain insights into forward orders management and forecasting.

Assist with visual and written content for retail pitch decks.

Participate in in-store / online retail audits and snapshot reporting.

Content Marketing

Observe how content is managed across social, web, and eDMs.

Assist with content adaptation (Canva / Adobe Express) and supervised scheduling of social media posts.
