Allied Grain Systems is a progressive industry leader in the design and construction of grain storage and handling facilities across Australia. Based in Young, NSW, our team delivers innovative, large-scale solutions to the commercial grain handling sector, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer service.
We’re currently seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time role ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys working closely with both technical and on-site teams, and wants to be involved in projects from concept design through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver projects from inception to completion, on time and within budget
- Oversee project scheduling, cost tracking, and scope management
- Prepare detailed design briefs, specifications, and documentation
- Liaise with drafting, engineering, and workshop teams during fabrication
- Coordinate with site supervisors and contractors during installation and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Develop and implement project‑specific safety and QA documentation
- Apply practical engineering knowledge to deliver cost‑effective solutions
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
About You
Proven experience in project management within the construction or engineering sector.Strong understanding of construction methods and mechanical systems.Excellent planning, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.Confident communicator, with the ability to lead teams and engage with clients.Self‑starter who takes initiative and ownership of projects.Familiarity with grain handling or rural infrastructure highly regarded.Qualifications & Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or similar. Experienced trade qualified technicians may apply.Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects.Proficiency in project scheduling and reporting tools.White Card (Construction Induction) required.Current Driver’s Licence.A background in regional or rural Australia is highly desirable.What We Offer
