Sterilisation Technician (Gde 2) - Fairfield Hospital - Casual

Overview

As a Sterilisation Technician you will work behind the scenes to ensure every instrument meets the highest standards of cleanliness and care. Your expertise will directly contribute to better health outcomes and a safer hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the sterilisation process for reusable medical devices & equipment in accordance with AS5369 : 2023.
• Work independently under general supervision, following instructions and maintaining a high level of work ethics.
• Collaborate with perioperative teams, demonstrating awareness of tracking and traceability systems and Fast Track procedures.
• Identify and manage complex reusable medical devices within a Sterilising Services team.
