Finance Officer (Family Accounts)

Role Description / Criteria

St Columba’s College Ltd is a Catholic secondary girls’ school located in Essendon under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity.

St Columba’s College is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer (Family Accounts) to manage school fee billing, receipting, and debt collection with accuracy and professionalism. This is a full time ongoing role.

As the Finance Officer (Family Accounts) your key responsibilities will include :

• Administer tuition fee billing, receipting and payment plans
• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports
• Liaise with families regarding fee arrangements and concessions
• Support the Business Manager with budgeting and financial processes

We are looking for :

• Experience in accounts receivable (school experience desirable)
• Proficiency in finance systems (Synergetic preferred) and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem solving skills
• A professional, empathetic approach and commitment to confidentiality

Role Description
