The Role :

We are looking for a skilled Tyre Technician to join our team, responsible for performing both planned and reactive tyre changes and maintenance on a variety of mobile mining equipment. You will play a key role in delivering consistent service on-site, supporting workshop operations, managing stock and office tasks, and ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards. Your duties will include :

  • Conducting planned and emergency tyre changes on a diverse range of mobile mining machinery
  • Performing routine inspections and evaluating wheel components for continued service, recording data in our cutting-edge tyre management system
  • Maintaining tyre pressures and quality to meet site specifications
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients

About You :

To be successful in this role, you should bring the following :

  • Ideally, 2+ years of experience in Earthmover tyre fitting on mining sites
  • A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting (Heavy); AUR21916 / AUR21920
  • A valid C Class driver’s license (HR / LR is a bonus)
  • Current WorkSafe Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Strong initiative and the ability to thrive under pressure
  • A solid understanding of safety protocols and a keen eye for detail to ensure compliance with site safety procedures
  • A mature, proactive approach and the ability to work independently
