What you’ll be doing

As a Graduate Environmental Scientist at Alcoa, you will learn, grow, and develop hands-on experience and expertise in :

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining an Environment Management System with a focus on regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and best practices.
  • Assisting with the coordination of environmental risk assessments.
  • Assisting with the identification of potential environmental impacts and helping to develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce those risks.
  • Supporting regional and site environmental teams through data entry, review, analysis, reporting, review and update of manuals and procedures, and report submission.
  • Assisting with coordination of internal and external environmental audits.
  • Development and mentoring
