With the support of qualified tradespeople, you will be :
- Assist with the preparation and installation of landscapes, including planting, paving, and retaining walls.
- Learn how to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Work closely with the team to ensure that all projects are completed to a high standard.
- Learn to work efficiently in a busy landscaping environment.
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria :
Must have interest and commitment to work in ConstructionMust hold a White Card or able to obtain ASAPHold (or close to obtaining) a current Drivers License and have own reliable transportParticipation in a Pre-Apprenticeship course or Certificate I or II Construction course is advantageousWork Experience within the construction industry is highly desirableMust be physically fit & able to work outdoorsBe reliable, resilient, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to take directionBenefits of doing your apprenticeship with ECA :
