The Opportunity:
As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will play a crucial role in our client's Perth-based team, focusing on the design and development of electrical systems and components for mineral processing plants.
Key Responsibilities: - Designing and preparing detailed electrical and instrumentation (E&I) drawings for mineral processing plants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborating closely with the multi-disciplinary engineering team to ensure that designs meet project requirements and align with the overall project vision.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and other project-related documentation.
- Providing technical support to team members and clients as required, leveraging your expertise to address any design-related challenges.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Designer within an engineering consultancy, preferably with a focus on the mining or mineral processing industry.
- Certificate, diploma, or trade qualification in electrical and/or instrumentation fields, demonstrating your technical foundation.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including AS/NZS 3000, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Proficiency in MicroStation and 2D design, encompassing SLDs, schematics, terminations, layouts, and block diagrams.
- Competency in 3D electrical and instrumentation modelling will be highly regarded, reflecting your versatility and adaptability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to tackle complex design challenges with efficiency and precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration and communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
