Your Role

As Manager, International Trade Compliance you will be responsible for leading the licensing team to assist with maintaining Northrop Grumman Australia’s (NGA) export and import operational and compliance obligations. You will develop and lead team members to :

  • Support existing programs and business development activities by assisting with the development of the ITC strategy to deliver seamlessly to the customer :
  • Manage comprehensive internal export and import controls to ensure compliance with Australian, US and other foreign regulations in the conduct of sales, international marketing, and other business activities :
  • Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of Australian export controls, ITAR and EAR regulations and information, EU and other international controls, and best practices for compliance, and educate the team accordingly :
  • Oversee the provision of export / import obligations as required and effectively communicate such

requirements to program personnel : and

  • Provide strategic guidance, plan and incorporate ITC requirements into existing operational practices.
  • About You

    With your deep expertise is export controls, you will have experience with a diverse portfolio of programs, products, and services within a complex export / import compliance environment. You will also have :

  • Experience leading a team to deliver successful outcomes :
  • Tertiary qualification (Business, Law or similar) :
  • Experience in interpreting and providing guidance on Australian and U.S. export and import
  • regulations :

  • Experience providing training on US and Australian export / import laws and regulations :
  • Strong knowledge and experience implementing US and Australia export / import regulations and compliance practices into business processes :
  • Strong cross functional collaboration skills and ability to influence others :
  • Ability to deliver organised and detail orientated plans through written and verbal communication
  • to all levels of the organisation.
