Job descriptionMonday to Friday work schedule with early start and early finish Competitive hourly rate Uniform and PPE supplied Ongoing safety training programs and resources available Frequent free team social events Career progression pathways Possibility of overtime in warmer months Previous experience in Lawn Maintenance (Cemetery experience highly regarded) Valid Manual Drivers Licence White Card Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and / or individually Be punctual and reliable Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
About the Role
As a Team Member, you will be responsible for working alongside a team to maintain and enhance council-controlled cemeteries within Brisbane.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.
- Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
- Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
- Complete service requests as required
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
