Home Care Support Worker | Aged Care - Melton & Surrounds

Do you meet these minimum requirements?

• Live in or near Melton including surrounding suburbs Deer Park, St Albans, Ravenhall, Rockbank, Sunshine or Taylors Lakes.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own comprehensively insured car (sorry, we cannot accept international license's or shared/rental vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.
• Know this is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home

What this role offers:

• Open to Experienced candidates
• Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
• Permanent Contract hours: 30-40 hours per fortnight + flex up hours.
• Hourly Rate: $34.77 - $34.93 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
• Most importantly: be a friendly face & brighten someone's day!

Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role – this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers. From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you’ll make a real difference in people’s lives every day.
