Room Leader (Kensington)

  • Permanent FullTime position available
  • 1 offfloor curriculum day & receive support from Educational Leader

About the Centre

Ngala Early Learning Kensington is a wellestablished exceeding national quality rating centre offering large open indoor and outdoor play areas a longstanding educator team with embedded arts curriculum and a range of stimulating learning opportunities.

Our Kensington centre operating hours are Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 7am to 6pm.

About the Role

As the Room Leader you will work alongside a team of Early Childhood Educators to deliver child focused care to children 06 years of age and ensure Educators adhere to all policies and procedures and support their development by providing supervision mentoring and leading by example. In addition you will contribute to the development of the Early Childhood Curriculum and plan and implement accordingly.

Just as important youll become part of a closeknit team who support each other learn from each other and love coming to work.

What We Are Looking For

You are passionate about childrens learning and development and are a leader who can bring out the best in others. You will have :

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)

Demonstrated experience supporting the development and learning of children 06 years old

Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)

A current First Aid certificate including asthma and anaphylaxis

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and selflearning to achieve the best outcomes for children

Flexibility to work rotating shifts during operating hours

High level of verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.

Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months

Current WA Working with Childrens Check

As part of our commitment to being a Child Safe organisation successful candidates are required to provide their Immunisation History Statement.

While immunisations are highly encouraged they are not mandatory. This information will help us assess and implement appropriate safety measures for everyone.
