Remuneration : $38.36 - $51.09 per hour (+ superannuation)

Position Title : Registered Nurse (RN 2-8), Primary Care - Various up to 19th September 2026

Position Classification : Registered Nurse Year 2-8 (RN2-8)

Role Overview

We are currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and with at least one full year of nursing experience.

Your role will involve reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.

They work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW and Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reception screening and comprehensive health assessments of persons received into custody.
  • Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing management.
  • Work within JHFMHN policies and Corrective Services NSW and Juvenile Justice NSW regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • At least one full year of nursing experience.
