$68,483.48 Base salary plus $8218.02 Superannuation per annum

Are you ready to take your events experience to the next level in a professional, purpose-driven environment? WALGA is seeking a capable and motivated Events Officer to join our team.

This role is a perfect opportunity for someone who’s passionate about planning, coordination, and creating memorable experiences, from smaller gatherings and online webinars to large-scale sector-wide events and conventions.

You’ll work closely with our highly experienced Senior Advisor Events, gaining hands‑on exposure to the full lifecycle of corporate event planning and delivery. As part of our collaborative Advocacy Portfolio, you’ll be supported by a culture that values creativity, precision, and purpose in everything we do.

What Your Days Could Look Like.

  • Managing the Events Inbox, being the go‑to person for all event support
  • Coordinating logistics and liaising with venues, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Managing registrations and guest communications
  • Being the key support person on the ground at events, welcoming guests, solving problems, and helping the Senior Advisor Events to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of WALGA’s flagship Annual Convention
  • Handling post‑event reporting, data collection, and continuous improvement
  • Assisting with sponsorship and exhibitor admin
  • Eventually running smaller events independently with support from the team
