Hotel Ravesis is shaking things up with a bold new Spanish Coastal restaurant concept overlooking Bondi Beach.

We have just launched a brand-new restaurant on our iconic upper floor, “Alzado”.

Think bold Spanish-Iberian flavours, fresh ocean catch, and street food flair served in a stunning dining room overlooking Bondi Beach, with attitude and sunshine.

The Role

The Chef de Partie (CdP) is responsible for supporting the Sous Chef on the running of a kitchen section leading the preparation and cooking of dishes of its specific section.

Main Accountabilities

  • Responsible for supporting the Sous Chef in the day to day operations of the kitchen at all times.
  • Monitor the execution of effective stock management including but not limited to ordering, receipting, storing (including best practice stock management) and stock rotation.
  • Supporting the training and growth of demi chefs and commis chefs of its section.
  • Supporting for the effective development (WH&S, technology use, product knowledge, job related task performance) of team members to meet and exceed business objectives through individual and team performance.
  • Ensuring the highest standards for food production, preparation and presentation.
  • Ensuring for meeting & implementing Hotel Ravesis standards in kitchen and staff presentation.
  • Responsible for delivering on trend, relevant, seasonal food offering from the kitchen.
  • 3+ years previous experience in a comparable role.
  • Knowledge of menu creation.
  • Verbal and written communication skills to ensure clarity and efficiency in the kitchen.

    Salaried : A$72,450–$78,145 per annum
