The Role
The Chef de Partie (CdP) is responsible for supporting the Sous Chef on the running of a kitchen section leading the preparation and cooking of dishes of its specific section.
Main Accountabilities
- Responsible for supporting the Sous Chef in the day to day operations of the kitchen at all times.
- Monitor the execution of effective stock management including but not limited to ordering, receipting, storing (including best practice stock management) and stock rotation.
- Supporting the training and growth of demi chefs and commis chefs of its section.
- Supporting for the effective development (WH&S, technology use, product knowledge, job related task performance) of team members to meet and exceed business objectives through individual and team performance.
- Ensuring the highest standards for food production, preparation and presentation.
- Ensuring for meeting & implementing Hotel Ravesis standards in kitchen and staff presentation.
- Responsible for delivering on trend, relevant, seasonal food offering from the kitchen.
- 3+ years previous experience in a comparable role.
- Knowledge of menu creation.
- Verbal and written communication skills to ensure clarity and efficiency in the kitchen.
