  • Our Centre

    We are situated on the grounds of St Bernardines Catholic Primary School. We have our own building, use of school hall, oval and our very own outdoor play space. At St Bernardines Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care to up to 130 children.

    St Bernardines OSHC is part of the St Bernardines Catholic Parish community and has been operating for over 20 years. As a service we focus on children's interests, we have a large outdoor play space and loose parts experience for children in care, we have gardens that children help to grow our own produce that is then used in our daily menu.

    We currently have a great team of educators and looking to expand our team with passionate educators due to our numbers increasing.

    • Job Requirements :

    • Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential
    • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
    • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
    • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law / Regulations or ability to acquire
    • Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
