Job descriptionConfident and calm manner. Experienced in challenging behaviour management. Communication : the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to adapt communication skills to each client you work with. Current National Police Check. Certificate Level III in Individual Support (in Aging). Background : Indian, Nepalese or South East Asian. Location : Penrith. So it would be great if candidates live within less than 11km radius. It is ok if she doesn't have a car, but she should be able to commute there, and the shift is usually two hours long. Must have or willing to apply for NDIS Worker Screening Check before commencement. Can do both personal care, and domestic assistance. The client needs two workers instead of one
This position is in-home care setting, not in residential facilities.
Job responsibilities :
- Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc.
- Transporting and accompanying clients when required.
- Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping.
- Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence.
- Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in / out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app.
