About us
Allta is a small 2-hat Korean fine diner, showcasing Korean cuisine at its most refined. Drawing from our executive chef’s, Jung-Su Chang, experience leading the kitchen at two Michelin starred Jungsikin Seoul, we aim to elevate the standard of Korean cuisine in Sydney. We have outgrown our current location, a small 12-seater venue, and are moving to a larger location in Surry Hills at the end of October, and as such are looking to grow our FOH team.

The Role
We are currently seeking experienced Waitstaff who are enthusiastic, dedicated and possess a genuine passion for hospitality. As an integral part of the bar, you\'ll have a chance to showcase your skills in a fun and collaborative environment! Due to the level of service we are trying to achieve, experience in fine dining and some knowledge of Korean cuisine / culture will be highly regarded.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience as a Section Waiter, minimum 2 years, with fine dining highly regarded.
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a hands-on attitude.
- A valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
- Warm, friendly and professional service approach.
- Attention to detail and strong product knowledge.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with guests.
- Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn, share and contribute.
- A genuine love of food and creating memorable experiences.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Impeccable grooming standards suited to fine dining.
