Employer Engagement Consultant - Workforce Australia

We are looking for several motivated Employer Engagement Consultants (Workforce Australia) to join our Employment Services Team in various sites on a full-time basis, including Strathpine, Chermside, Kippa-Ring, Fortitude Valley, Mitchelton and South Brisbane.

From your extensive experience of the local labour market and strong stakeholder relationships, you will identify job opportunities and reverse market candidates to find long-term sustainable employment. You will also provide post-placement support to help customers thrive in their new jobs.

Reporting to the Area Manager , the Employer Engagement Consultant will be responsible for :

  • Proactively engage with local employers to identify vacancies and match them with suitable candidates.
  • Reverse market jobseekers into roles and support job carving where needed.
  • Collaborate with Employer Engagement Consultants to align job opportunities with customer skills and goals.
  • Refer customers to relevant training and employment programs.
  • Deliver group sessions to enhance employability and job search skills.
  • Provide post-placement support to customers and employers for up to 6 months.

About You

The ideal applicant will have :

  • Experience as either a recruitment consultant or in employment services
  • Experience working in KPI-driven environments (such as sales or retail)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
