About the facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
The McKellar Centre offers a range of professional aged care services, as well as rehabilitation both as an inpatient and community rehabilitation clinics, community health and palliative care services. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
About the role
As a clinical nurse, your practice will lead to excellence in patient / client / resident’s care. You understand the importance of establishing a therapeutic relationship between yourself and the patient to enable best possible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with the patient, consumers and other health care professionals, working to establish and evaluate plans of care.
